Ship Supplies; Logistics; Ship Stevedoring; Transportation

Chidlom Marine Services & Supplies Ltd. provides ship supplies and logistics services, including supply of ship stores, cargo dunnage materials, cargo lashing and securing equipment, cargo handling equipment, tally and checker services forklift rental/services, warehouses and storage spaces for rental, material procurement, management, and distribution. CMSS also provides ship stevedoring and transportation services, including cargo loading and unloading, cargo handling, and transportation.

GAC Thoresen Logistics Ltd., a joint venture company between TTA and Gulf Agency Company Limited, Liechtenstein, provides full-scale third party logistics at a 10,000 square foot warehouse in Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate, Chonburi, Thailand.

Port Operations

Sharjah Ports Services LLC, an associate company of TTA, has a concession covering all stevedoring, cargo handling, cargo storage, cargo delivery, marketing and accounting for all general cargo, roll-on, roll-off carriers, and reefer break bulk cargoes for Port Khalid, Hamriyah, and Sharjah Creek ports for a period of 10 years and be automatically renewed for another 5 years.

Fertilizer Business

Baconco Co., Ltd. manufactures and sells fertiliser in Vietnam and provides logistics services from its warehouse facilities. Its plant is located on a 56,000 square meters site in Phu My, Vietnam and is 50 meters away from Baria Serece Port. While fertiliser production contributes the majority of revenues, Baconco has a license to lease part of its warehouse. This proximity to the port and extensive warehouse facilities will allow continued expansion of a professional logistics business in the surrounding area.

Coal-logistics Business

Unique Mining Services Public Company Limited is a publicly listed company in Thailand that specialises in logistics for the coal industry. UMS currently imports more than one million tones of coal into Thailand, and reclassifies them before transporting to more than 400 clients on a “just-in-time” basis. UMS owns two coal blending facilities and warehouses, twelve barges and twenty six trucks to serve the increasing local coal demand of industrial customers, which use coal-fired boilers.
