Corporate Affairs Officer

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Organise and prepare agendas and documentation for Board of Directors meeting and shareholder meeting
  • Prepare and draft report to Stock Exchange of Thailand and annual filling to SEC
  • Prepare and maintain updated corporate records
  • Update and monitoring changes in relevant legislation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in any related field preferable in English or Laws
  • High administrative and organization skill possess basic knowledge of law and regulations related to Public Company Limited Company Act, Securities and Exchange Acts
  • Excellent Command in English is a must with strong translation skills
  • Can work under time constraint
  • Computer Literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Senior HR Policies Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Establish policies related to Human Resources or entities across TTA in order to ensure alignment from corporate and Group strategy to HR strategies and practices as well as establish and maintain HR related manual for employee.
  • In conjunction with other related function, develop HR guideline and procedure for entities across TTA Group to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and efficiency in HR strategy implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in HRD, HRM or any related field
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in human resources management and at least 7 years in a business management position
  • Hands on, Strong leadership, team player, business minded and logical thinking
  • Able to work well in cross-cultural environment
  • In-depth understanding of HRM requirements in a diversified business including related laws and regulations

New Building Trainee

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To monitor onsite construction work, to ensure that vessels are being built in accordance with Thoresen requirements related Classification and IMO rules, the Specification, Manufacturers requirements and relevant construction drawings.
  • To monitor all aspects of hull and superstructure construction ensuring that specifications, design/construction drawings and relevant regulations are followed and complied with.
  • To monitor all aspects of ship protective coating system ensuring that paint manufacturer requirements and coating specifications are followed and complied with.
  • To carry out at every stage, surface preparations and coating application as presented by shipyard quality control department.
  • To monitoring all aspects of main propulsion and auxiliary machinery installation ensuring that manufacturer requirements, build specifications, design/construction drawings and relevant regulations are followed and complied with.
  • To monitoring all aspects of electrical system and installation ensuring that manufacturer’ requirements, built specifications, design/construction drawings and relevant regulations are followed and complied with.
  • To keep the Project Manager updated on inspections and records, including deficiency reports, and to follow up their corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, marine engineering.
  • Fluent in English and computer literate.
  • Knowledge of class society rules and IMO regulations.
  • Able to perform work at any overseas locations.

Trainee Chartering Executive

Education, Experience:

  • Diploma or University degree in a related field. Specific experience in trading, broking or Shipping can substitute diploma.

Specific Knowledge:

  • Fluent in English
  • Computer literate
  • Willing to learn
  • Knowledge in dry cargo market including trades, commodities, daily markets will be an advantage.

Training will be given to achieve the following position

  • Co-develop strategy and strategic plan with the Tramp Associate Director and Commercial Director in order to lead the Division to achieve targets assigned by the Commercial Director.
  • Estimate and manage budgets according to the operations plan in order to adequately support the functional operations as well as control the operation expense within budgets.
  • Contact with various brokers, ship owners and charterers to negotiate on chartering matter
  • Seek potential new customers and keep good relationship with existing customers by find the right vessel and right business for chartering
  • Calculations and estimates to ensure rates optimize returns for the fleet subject to market levels
  • Schedule the fleet to service both liner and tramp business
  • Consolidate information/data on customers/charterers needs, including ship specification, services requirements, chartering cost to help secure/enhance business opportunities and identify future customers
  • Research, identify and develop existing and potential customer portfolio
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of market activities, industry trends in order to create and develop new business opportunities and recommend to supervisor modification/ changes of strategies/ practices.
  • Make regular calls/visits to maintain and develop professional relationship and follow up on needs with the aim to close deals and finalize contracts
  • Act as liaison between owners/brokers and charterers in order to settle disputes
  • Coordinate, advise and work with the operation officers to ensure the smooth operations (vessels status, condition/maintenance) and solving customer complaints/problems
  • Follow companies processes on credit checks, pricing policy and any other companies policies applicable
