Ref: The Disclosure of Information to the Stock Exchange of Thailand No. COR:MS/EL06022e/ms dated 20 December 2006 regarding the acquisition of two newbuild vessels
Thoresen Thai Agencies Public Company Limited ("TTA") confirms that Thor Friendship Shipping Pte. Ltd., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Thoresen Shipping Singapore Pte. Ltd., which, in turn, is a subsidiary of TTA, officially took delivery of M.V. Thor Friendship (the "Vessel") from Oshima Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., Japan ("Oshima") on 13 January 2010.
The Vessel has a 53,350 deadweight ton capacity and was ordered in December 2006. The purchase price was JPY 4,085,000,000. It is fully equipped with four cargo cranes, each of which has a safe working load of 36 metric tons. The Vessel was built by Oshima with Sumitomo Corporation representing the shipyard as sales agent. TTA plans to take delivery of another Oshima-built vessel in 2011.
