Bangkok – March 26, 2024: STROM (Thailand) Company Limited, a prominent technology leader and manufacturer of Thai-made electric vehicles, is teaming up with Thoresen Thai Agencies Public Company Limited to unveil three electric motorcycle models under the concept  “Touch the Future with STROM” and offer exclusive sales promotional packages for all models at the STROM B6 booth during the Bangkok International Motor Show 2024, scheduled to take place from March 27 to April 7, 2024, at Challenger 1-3 and IMPAC Forum Hall 4, IMPAC Muang Thong Thani.

These motorcycles are known for their ease of use and high acceleration. However, we continue to do research and collect usage data to develop new products that best meet the specific needs of each customer group, aiming to provide maximum benefit. This year, at Motor Show 2024, STROM once again sets a new standard in the electric motorcycle industry in Thailand by launching three models of innovative electric motorcycles that have a top speed of 350 km/hour with a starting price at just 38,900 baht.

The lineup includes the STROM APE AP-400L, designed for sportive riding style on sporty routes, ideal for drivers needing speed for long-distance travel. The All-New Panther V2 model aims to ignite the future of electric mobility, offering flexibility and agility for users seeking a high-performance vehicle that is sustainable for daily use. It strikes a balance between technology and environmental consciousness. Additionally, the SEAL V3 Upgraded model caters to urban lifestyles, providing comfortable city driving while being environmentally mindful.”

Customers interested in making reservations at the event will receive special promotions and an exclusive guarantee unmatched by any other offer. These include a 1-year/10,000 KM warranty on the electrical unit, a 2-year/20,000 KM warranty on the battery or control system, and a 2-year/30,000 KM warranty on the motor. These warranties are only available at the event.”

Coupled with government policies pushing Thailand to become an EV hub in the region, the goal is to have ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicle) vehicles account for at least 30% of total vehicle production by 2030, representing a production capacity of approximately 675,000 electric motorcycles (data from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation). With initiatives promoting electric motorcycles, environmental conservation trends, and a focus on reducing fuel costs, we are confident that the three recently launched electric motorcycle models under the STROM brand at the Motor Show 2024 will receive an excellent response from customers. "Currently, STROM Company (Thailand) has collaborated with SCG International Corporation Company Limited to develop the first motorcycle charging station in Thailand in the SCG Swap&Charge concept that brings battery swapping and fast charging together in one station. This offers a form of electric charging service for all brands of electric motorcycles. It is expected that the service will be available within the 2nd quarter of 2024, which will help customers receive more convenience," added Lt. Col. M.R. Bhiranupong.

Three new electric motorcycle models under the concept 'Touch the Future with STROM' include:

1. STROM APE AP-400L SPORTIVE RIDING STYLE takes you on every sporty route. Prices start from 94,800 baht.

• Designed to meet the demands of long-distance travel at an affordable price, the new APE AP-400L model offers drivers unprecedented speed and driving experience unlike any other. With a powerful 4000W motor and a maximum speed of 150 km/h, the APE AP-400L embodies swift and forceful movement in the digital age. What's particularly intriguing is the remarkably large 72V160Ah battery, capable of covering distances of up to 400 kilometers on a single charge in just 3.5 hours with fast charging. Additionally, it boasts the capability to upgrade the motor power to up to 5000W. Available in three stunning colors: Galaxy Blue, White Pearl, and Monsoon Gray.

2. All-New Panther V2: Igniting the Future of Electric Mobility. The Panther V2 3000W comes with prices starting at 99,900 baht.

• It comes with 72V40Ah NMC style LFP wheels, and 16-inch wheels, and can be upgraded to 5000W with a maximum speed of up to 160 km/h. The car comes with a car theft prevention system that sends a warning signal to the center where staff are available 24 hours a day with the Vehicle Tracking System so users can relax and be at ease, without any worries. Three stylish colors to choose from: Solid White, Jet Black, and Graphite Grey.

3. SEAL V3 Upgrade, starting at 38,900

• The 100℆ electric motorcycles can be registered. The SEAL V3 is designed for multipurpose use with a powerful 1000W motor, with a free upgrade to 1500W, and with a maximum speed of up to 70 km/h*. Durable and resistant to use, equipped with the GC Control V3, NMC lithium battery, type LCC, which can be used for up to 5 years. Available in many sizes to choose from, it can run a maximum distance of 100 km per charge**. Be confident that the battery is insured against explosion and will pay out 100,000 baht if such an event occurs. There is a choice of batteries: attached to the car and a removable one that can be used with an external charger. The battery can be lifted out of the car to charge at home normally. Additionally, the front wheels have been upgraded to 12" to absorb more shocks. This model is available in three distinct colorways: White Pearl-Ruby Red, White Pearl-Limited Orange, and White Pearl-Electric Blue.
