TTA Empowers Youth with the Unveiling of the Buddy Thai App to Foster Emotion Management Skills and Cultivate Open-mindedness and Respect for Differences

Bangkok, Thailand – January 16, 2024 – On National Children’s Day 2024, Thoresen Thai Agencies Public Company Limited (TTA) set up a booth in the learning zone at the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security. The objective was to foster an 'Open-mindedness and Respect for Differences' mindset among Thai children and youth. The initiative aimed to encourage young individuals to develop essential skills in understanding their thoughts and effectively managing their emotions on a daily basis. This was achieved through engaging activities available on the Buddy Thai application. The application serves as "a trusted close friend" for young people, providing a platform for expressing their feelings.

In situations where young individuals experience any form of bullying, they have the option to press the "Request advice" or "Request help" button on the BuddyThai app instantly. It provides access to experts with a background in psychology who are available to offer accurate advice to the youth. These professionals specialize in helping individuals reduce anxiety, alleviate stress, guide them away from responding with violence, and in certain cases, assist individuals in eliminating suicidal thoughts.

The Buddy Thai app, developed under the concept "If you're being bullied, come to Buddy for help.," is now accessible on both the Apple Store and Google Play Store. For additional details, please visit www.buddy4thai.com or check out the Buddy Thai App Facebook page.
