Buddy Thai, a TTA Group Initiative, Hosts Second School Tour to Cultivate a Bullying-Free Environment for Children

Bangkok, Thailand – January 31, 2024 – Thoresen Thai Agencies Public Company Limited (TTA) organized the event 'If you're being bullied, come to Buddy for help,' in collaboration with the Department of Children and Youth under the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, The Children and Youth Council, and the Because We Care Facebook page under the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security's supervision. The Royal Thai Police, represented by spokesperson Pol Col Sirikul Srisanga, inaugurated the school activity at Kaenthong Upatham School in Bangkok. This school tour marks the second event following the initial one at Mahavajiravudh School in Songkhla Province, which received overwhelming feedback from students and teachers last year.

Buddy Thai, an initiative by Mr. Chalermchai Mahagitsiri, TTA President and Chief Executive Officer, aims to cultivate a Bullying-Free Environment and promote an 'Open-mindedness and Respect for Differences' mindset among Thai children and youth. Achieved through the emotional diary feature, closely monitored by professional psychologists, the app also includes a 'Request advice' or 'Request help' button for instant access to experts. These professionals specialize in providing accurate advice to youth, assisting in reducing anxiety, alleviating stress, steering away from violent responses, and, in certain cases, aiding individuals in overcoming suicidal thoughts.

The Buddy Thai app, developed under the concept "If you're being bullied, come to Buddy for help.," is now accessible on both the Apple Store and Google Play Store. For additional details, please visit www.buddy4thai.com or check out the Buddy Thai App Facebook page.
