King Long Partners with Hua Hin Municipality to Develop EV Master Plan and Advance Smart Mobility for a Model Tourism City
Prachuap Khiri Khan, 11 February 2026 - P80 Go Company Limited, the importer and distributor of King Long electric pickup trucks in Thailand, under Thoresen Thai Agencies Public Company Limited, participated in a consultation meeting on a research project to develop a master plan for electric vehicle (EV) adoption and the establishment of integrated EV charging stations for public services operated by local administrative organizations. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Nopporn Wutthikul, Mayor of Hua Hin Municipality, held at the Naresdamri Room at the Hua Hin City Municipality Office.



The objective of the meeting was to explore guidelines for deploying electric vehicles in municipal public service missions and community activities, as well as to discuss the development of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to pilot EV usage and charging infrastructure development. During the session, P80 Go Company Limited presented information on EV technology, charging system solutions, and management models tailored to the context of a tourism city, supporting the transition to clean energy and enhancing the efficiency of public services in a sustainable manner.
This collaboration marks another significant step in supporting Hua Hin Municipality’s Smart City policy, particularly in the area of Smart Mobility. The initiative aims to enhance traffic systems, public transportation, and EV infrastructure to be more convenient, safe, and environmentally friendly, while establishing a tangible model for local-level EV fleet management moving forward.
